carsales has today announced the appointment of Adam Davis as B2B and Trade Content Editor.
Davis will drive carsales Business Insights B2B content strategy and look to further increase engagement with key stakeholders including dealers and OEMs.
With 15+ years of automotive industry experience, Davis worked as a Communications Manager at ALPINA Automobiles, BMW and Mazda. He also held roles as a Journalist and Freelance Writer at NRMA Publishing, Shannons Auctions and carsales.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Adam Davis to the carsales team. Content plays a very important part in engaging our business partners whether they be dealers, brands themselves or other adjacencies. Adam’s experience aligns perfectly with our desire to supercharge this space,” said carsales Director of Content and Editor-in-Chief, Mike Sinclair.
“Adam has worked with our team on both sides of the fence and we’re excited to welcome him back,” continued Sinclair.
Davis’ passion for cars and the auto industry started before he was 10, reading car magazines.
“That cemented my appetite for the automotive industry. I always knew I wanted to work in automotive,” stated Davis.
“I am excited to implement my experience acquired over the years both on the OEM side and as a motoring journalist to further develop carsales’ business voice, support key stakeholders and build on existing and new dealer and OEM relationships,” continued Davis.
Davis is also the founder of Drive Against Depression, a charity that exists to connect people touched by mental illness through a shared passion for motoring.
Davis added: “cars are my life in and outside of the office – what cars can do for mental health inspires me to share the freedom of driving with our community.”
