Buyers value carsales as a source of reliable, up-to-date information, making it their go-to platform when it comes to validating their decisions.

Additionally, there are over 35,000 new vehicles available for purchase on the platform³. Which not only exceeds its tracked category competitors but allows new car buyers the freedom to compare and choose.

Meeting the evolving needs of dealers and advertisers

carsales has continually refined its offering to ensure the user experience is as smooth and efficient as possible. Recent enhancements to the platform’s editorial and new car homepage reflect this commitment to delivering an intuitive, personalised experience that aligns with evolving consumer expectations.

Research indicates that carsales has an engaged, in-market car buying audience actively comparing new and used vehicles on its platform. As a result, there is significant work underway to improve the new car experience on the platform, with a full end-to-end strategy to simplify this process.

The purpose of these updates is to support consumers in understanding their options when comparing new and used cars on carsales and help them get in touch with the right dealer to assist with their inquiry. The team has listened to consumer feedback on the current experience, as a result several key improvements are set to be introduced including;

– A module explaining the car buying process.
