A trio of Australian Nissan dealerships scoop the prestigious Global Award at annual dealer event in Melbourne

Nissan’s best dealers from around Australia have been feted at the company’s annual awards event in Melbourne, with three dealers earning a tick from the top brass in Yokohama.

Each year, the Nissan Global Award is awarded to the Japanese brand’s best and brightest retailers from around the world.

The gong is the single highest accolade that a dealer can earn, and only comes after meeting – and surpassing – strict criteria based on sales effectiveness, customer experience and service recommendations.

Currently, Nissan has 182 dealers around Australia.

“Winning the Nissan Global Award takes an outstanding team effort across all aspects of the dealership,” said Managing Director of Nissan Australia, Adam Paterson.  “From Sales to Aftersales, Finance to Training – the winners have proven they truly are the best of the best.

“In addition, Nissan Australia’s ELITE Dealer Excellence Awards have been recognised globally as best practice for the way they reward all aspects of dealer performance.

“We are incredibly proud of all our Dealer partners and would like to congratulate them all on a terrific year.”

This is the seventh year that the Global Awards have been handed out.

Nissan’s dealer group are set for a busy period, with the brand set to refresh the majority of its mainstream lineup.
