Bold new brand creative for Redbook Inspect celebrates synergy with carsales, now rolling out across Australia

After a decade and a half, RedBook Inspect has updated its brand identity.

Debuting at the recent AADA conference in Brisbane, Redbook Inspect and Olasio CEO Barry Freeman said that the company has evolved considerably over the past 15 years, and the time was right for a change to help meet the needs of the business.

“We feel our logo now better reflects both our credibility and innovativeness,” he said.

“We are extremely proud of RedBook Inspect’s role in providing consumers with the knowledge they require to purchase a vehicle with confidence.”

The red and blue brackets on the logo are core elements of this design, representing the following:

  • The relationship between RedBook Inspect and carsales, with respect to brand colours
  • Safety and care; aligning with our brand purpose
  • The three elements represent the three parties taking part in our services. RBI is the body bringing the parties together and facilitating a transaction. For example, a seller – RBI – a buyer.
  • The checkbox portrays comprehensive (inspections), inclusion, and fulfilment.

The dynamic new logo showcases the credibility and convenience of the brand’s quality reporting offering by including their own tick of approval with a brand new tagline, Safer with RedBook Inspect.

New fleet wraps and inspector uniforms have also been updated with a more modern and fresh look, and will be rolled out across the network in coming weeks.

“Special thanks to the wider RedBook Inspect team and all those involved with bringing this updated branding to life,” said Mr Freeman.

“We believe our new brand rollout will solidify RedBook Inspect in the minds of Australians by highlighting our key aspect of safety with regards to all our services.”

Buyers value independent inspections as they provide a transparent, objective record of condition that’s more than paint-deep. Specialist RedBook Inspect inspectors provide mobile vehicle inspections across Australia.

Identifying over ten million safety issues and completing millions of inspections since its acquisition by carsales in 2011, RedBook Inspect continues to cement its reputation as an affordable, trusted and reliable safety inspection service for consumers, dealerships and rideshare operators.
