Get access to servicing requests from local car owners and review the details before you provide an estimate

carsales is expanding into car services, giving car owners a new way to find, compare and request estimates from service providers.

If your dealership has a servicing workshop, you can join the carsales service provider network and be shown to customers looking for servicing and maintenance. When a customer requests an estimate from your business, you can review the job and choose whether to respond with an estimate.

It’s a new way to fill workshop capacity and connect with car owners who may not already be your customers.

Simple fee structure

There are no setup fees. You only pay a fee when you respond to a customer request, based on the estimated value of the job. Fees range from $10 to $25.

You choose which requests to respond to, so you stay in control of the work you take on.

Your provider account also includes access to the carsales Provider Hub, with unlimited users at no extra cost.

Less crowding, more trust

carsales averages more than 8.9 million users each month¹, from people buying and selling cars to those who already own one. To serve this audience, carsales is building a network of trusted service providers and limits the number of providers in each location, so no area becomes oversaturated.

Clearer requests, less back-and-forth

Customers provide details before a request reaches you. That can include information such as the vehicle’s make, model, badge, year and engine type, a description of the work and photos or video, as relevant. For customers who aren’t sure what they need, the carsales AI Assistant* can help them understand their service needs and find the right type of service. It can then help match their request to relevant providers.

This means requests arrive with more useful information, making them easier for your team to assess upfront.

You choose the jobs, we help connect the customers to you

Requests arrive in the carsales Provider Hub. Your team reviews them there and sends estimates only for the jobs it wants. Once you submit an estimate, you and the customer receive each other’s contact details, so you can connect directly and book the work.

You also decide how the Hub runs for your business. Set your service areas and the services you offer and pause requests when the workshop is at capacity. Add as many team members as you need at no extra cost and give each one the right level of access. Managers can oversee multiple dealerships from one account, which suits dealer groups.

Customers receive updates, notifications and reminders as their request progresses until they choose to connect with you directly. carsales also supports them as they submit requests and review estimates.
